MITA Students Scholarship Awards 2025

The MITA Scholarship Committee is proud to announce the 2025 scholarship winners—four outstanding students of Italian who truly embody MITA’s mission.
This year’s competition was once again very strong, and after careful consideration, the committee selected the following four students:


  • Shayan Chowdhury - Medford High School in memory of Simeone and Vittoria Dominijanni
  • Regina Perez - Winchester High School in memory of Mariagiustina Mastrangelo Brosio
  • Lauren Alberti - Billerica High School donated by the Massachusetts Italian Teachers Association
  • Dean Ciampa - Wilmington High School donated by the Massachusetts Italian Teachers Association
SCHOLARSHIPS RECIPIENTS
  • Scholarship amounts vary depending on the funds available to MITA (check will be made directly to recipient).
  • The MITA Scholarship Committee will review all applications that are completed on time. Winners will be notified in mid May.

The MITA scholarship committee is very proud to announce the 2015 MITA winners of their scholarship to 4 very outstanding students of Italian who embody the mission of MITA.  There was tough competition again this year and among the many applicants the committee chose the following 4 students:
  • Patrick Grady - Stoneham High School - in memory of Vito Scorza
  • Angela Petretta - Pittsfield High School - in memory of Rose Chiurri
  • Eric Salina - Burlington High School - in memory of Simeone Dominjanni
  • Cassandra Susi - Stoneham High School - in memory of Mark DiCarlo
