SALEM STATE UNIVERSITY
Join us in celebrating Italian, motivating your students in learning our language, and connecting with local universities and colleges!
The Massachusetts Italian Teachers Association (MITA) sponsors an annual “Italian Day”/"Giornata dell'Italiano" for secondary school students of Italian in Massachusetts. This event plays an important role in promoting the study of Italian and attracts about 150 students and teachers to take part in an Italian language competition on a local campus. "La Giornata dell'Italiano" represents a great opportunity for colleges and universities to showcase their Italian programs and connect with high-school students and faculty. It is an opportunity for mutual support and celebration.
